Series: Someone to Love #2
Author: Addison Moore
Publisher: Skyscape
Publication Date: January 28, 2014
A sexy, romantic read from the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of Someone to Love. When coed Ally Monroe literally falls into the arms of a tattooed bad-boy one summer night, she can't seem to let go. Morgan Jordan is everything Ally doesn't want—he's a playboy from a blue collar background, and Ally's looking for upper-class stability. Though their relationship starts off as a one-night stand, once Ally learns Morgan is her best friend's brother, there's no escaping him . . . or the growing fire between them. As Ally and Morgan become closer, they confront bitter enemies, his sister's disapproval, and paths pulling them in different directions at summer's end. The second book in the bestselling Someone to Love series proves that in love and passion, sometimes two wrongs do make a right.
I have been impatiently waiting for Someone Like You for what seems like forever, and let me tell you the wait was worth it! Addison seamlessly mixes humor and pure hotness. She can go from effortlessly making you laugh to melting your panties the next minute. I completely fell in love with Morgan and Ally. They were two very relatable characters who you rooted for, and hoped that love truly conquers all. We also get to see into the lives of Kendall and Cruise too. If you have not read Someone To Love do not panic, while Someone Like You is a sequel it can be read as a standalone, but I do recommend reading Someone To Love because it is fantastic as well.
The story of Morgan and Ally completely dragged me in from the start. Who else literally falls into the arms of their soul mate? Exactly! Poor Ally, man that girl had a rough life, she had been done wrong in so many ways, causing her to be a bit jaded, but who can blame her. Then there is Morgan, the sexy, sweet baseball player who has made some pretty bad decisions in life, but he was letting nothing stand in between trying to get the girl who stole his heart the night she fell into his arms. The banter between Ally and Morgan was hilarious, they like to push each others buttons, often driving them to the point of sexual combustion. It seems everyone around Ally and Morgan are not happy at their budding romance, and they will stop at nothing to keep them apart.
Will the people working against them succeed in keeping them apart? Will they defy all odds and have a happily ever after? Trust me you will want to read Someone Like You and find out for yourself.
Wow LOVE it!!!! Thank you so much for the kind review! Hugs and kisses! Super glad you enjoyed it!
