This is the first book that I have read by Sarah, and this certainly won't be the last book. Sarah writes a funny and up beat book. The follows the twin daughters of Reed Ryder, a professional golfer. There is Clara, who doesn't like the limelight, she doesn't like the fancy parties, and she sure doesn't get along with her sister Maggie or Maggie's best friend Leo. Maggie is the complete opposite. She love the parties, the fancy dresses and she loves the limelight. Leo is Maggie's best friend, they are inseparable. But there is a secret that Leo has been keeping from Maggie for years.
Two girls. One Leo.
Identical twins, Maggie and Clara Ryder, both grew up with Leo Maddox, billionaire playboy, apparent alcoholic, and heir to his grandfather's world-famous Maddox hotel empire. Their roles were cemented long ago: Maggie, as his best friend and Clara as his childhood nemesis.
But when a simple twist of fate changes everything and both girls start to fall for the lean, mean, ridiculously sexy and seemingly spoiled Leo... which girl will win his heart?
Throw in a little mischief, drama, and one smoking-hot bartender and lines are sure to blur. But one thing's for certain, neither good-girl Maggie nor rebellious Clara will be satisfied until they each figure out where they belong.
This is a funny love story. You have the high society, I have more money than I know what to do with, characters, then you have the characters that are just happy they are with good company, they don't care about the money, all they want is to be normal. I love that Sarah has put the two together. Many times you have the same song and dance where girl falls in love with super rich boy. But in this case, you have three people that are wealthy, one that isn't, but has grown up knowing what wealth is like. Two characters that love what money can do for them, and one that just wants to live her own life, with out the drama and the money. There are no huge twists in the book, and Sarah doesn't leave you hanging on for more. I will be reading more of Sarah's book!!
