Looks are deceiving when it comes to Your Ex-Boyfriend Will Hate This. The cover looks like a romance novel and the name gives off a dating book but trust me when I say it is neither. It's so much more than a dating book. It doesn't give that over-the-top advice with rules or how-to-guides. The book makes you take a good hard look at yourself and what you expect from a future partner. It is very humorous and will have you laughing at times. Your Ex-Boyfriend Will Hate this is an insightful journey into self discovery and finding out who you are and what you want in yourself and who you are with.
Definitely a book to recommend to your girlfriends who just can't seem to find Mr. Right or even your guy friends who portray Mr. Wrong.
I loved it right off the bat. It makes sense, is not preachy, but practical and applicable. Much better than Think Like a Man, Act Like a Woman or I'm Just Not Into You, neither of which stayed on my bookshelf. Did not like the vibes or advice. No, Blue does not give advice, only things to contemplate and make the highest choice on the next time around. You are worth it.
