“I will do anything to make her MINE.” —Remington
Tate
In the international bestseller REAL, the unstoppable bad boy of the Underground fighting circuit finally met his match. Hired to keep him in prime condition, Brooke Dumas unleashed a primal desire in Remington “Remy” Tate as vital as the air he breathes . . . and now he can’t live without her.
Brooke never imagined she would end up with the man who is every woman’s dream, but not all dreams end happily ever after, and just when they need each other the most, Brooke is torn away from the ringside. Now with distance and darkness between them, the only thing left is to fight for the love of the man she calls MINE.
Tabby's Review
I have been waiting for Mine for what seemed to be forever, and when it finally ended up on my kindle I started reading it immediately. I needed my Remy fix, and boy did I get it! When I started reading Mine I admit I didn’t expect it to be able to hold a candle to Real, but it did and exceeded what I could have ever imagined. I absolutely loved this book and cannot wait for more of Remy!
I knew this book was going to be something special when I was bawling like a baby 20% into it. The raw emotion of this book gripped onto my heart and didn’t let go. While reading this, not only was I captivated by the words on the page but I was completely overcome by the emotions that I felt in my heart. Yes, everyone knows that Real basically melted in your hands it was that hot, but Mine managed to kick it up about 10 notches. You could physically feel the sexual tension and the passion anytime Brooke and Remy were in the same room, and when they touched it was almost as if an inferno was raging right next to me.
The path to happily ever after for Brooke and Remy won’t be easy, but they love each other enough to know that there is no one else they would rather fight this battle with. With everything thrown at them they fight past the obstacles, and somehow come out of the wreckage stronger than ever. Remy and Brooke prove in Mine that love can win.
Jessica's Review
This is one of
those books I was highly anticipating coming out along with so many others and
to be honest I was a little disappointed. I LOVE Remy and Brooke, but something
just seemed to be missing.
Remy is having
his "come back" season as I call it, after purposely loosing the
championship fight last year. he is working harder, getting bigger and more
protective of Brooke than ever.
Brooke is,
well, I don't really know. She seems extremely happy with Remy, but is fighting
her guilt of leaving. When things get rough between them she has to fight to
show Remy she isn't going anywhere. No matter if he is black or blue he seems
to have a hard time believing her.
Their love
grows throughout the book and there are of course a few curves along the way. I
guess where I struggled with loving the story is the storyline for Remy's road
to the championship is pretty much exactly the same as it was in Real. Other
than that I really loved it. I just wish there would have been so new aspects
in the fights. Seemed to be same forms of attempted sabotage and everything. Remy
is still HOT has hell and I will always love him. He will do whatever it takes
to keep Brooke and his extended family safe. I laughed and cried throughout the
book.
Can't wait to
read Remy and get inside his head.
