The
Hollis Brothers never disappoint. Is it possible to fall in love with every
brother in a family? Yes, it is! I just love them all! Okay, not that I got
that out of the way, let’s dive into Fall With Me.
This might be my first Grumpy/Sunshine trope book where the male is the
sunshine and the girl is the grump, and I was here for it. The banter between
Ellie and Landon is top tier, and had me laughing, sometimes it made me sad,
and sometimes it made me angry for the person at the receiving end of the barbs.
This book to me was a bit of a slower burn but when the heat boils over it will
completely engulf you. Ellie is a firecracker, she's loyal, talented, and
completely focused on her career, and doesn't have time to be distracted, even
by the very attractive Landon Hollis whom she loathes. Landon, however, knew
from the start that Ellie was the one for him, he just didn't understand why
she hated him when he had done nothing wrong to her, so he thought. A tragic
event from their past connects the two and drives them apart, and a tragic
event of the present pull them back together. With so much stack against them
can Ellie and Landon work through the amnesia and the past coming back to wreck
everything? Trust me, you want to know! Fall With Me has all the twists and
turns of a bucking bronco (see what I did there? LOL!) It will keep you turning
those pages and holding on until the very end.
All my reviews are no spoilers, so this one will be no different. I don't want
to give too much away, so please just do me a favor and go read this book. If
you haven't read the previous books in the series, I do recommend that you read
them first so that you get more background information about the side
characters that are such a big part of each book. Yes, this book is an
interconnected standalone, and you could read it by itself, but I think it
would be a great disservice to you to miss out on the rest of the awesomeness
that is the Hollis Family!
