First of all I just want to say...It's about freaking time! LOL. I have been waiting impatiently for Lies Beneath The Surface to be release. I had to know the answers to the questions that Silla left us with at the end of Covered in Coal. With that brutal cliffhanger that left us all wondering...WHO'S THE DADDY?!
Lies Beneath the Surface is a non-stop emotional roller coaster taking us on the journey through Carly-Jo's pregnant. One minute I was happy and smiling the next I was a blubbering mess and I had a hard time distinguishing who was having pregnancy emotions me or Carly-Jo...LOL!
I cried, laughed, cringed and held my breath so many times while reading LBTS. I yelled, " Get your poop together!" Quite a few times while reading. I loved these characters...minus 2 but you will see why.
We also get Carly's sister POV and let me tell you Savannah's story tore me apart. At the same time her story proved one thing... women are strong, resilient and independent and we can overcome the worst situations.
Lies Beneath the Surface is emotional, suspense filled and mind blowing.
In Lies Beneath the Surface we learn some more secrets and are left with more questions which undoubtedly will be answered in the books that follow. Okay, now before you freak out there is no cliffhanger. So breathe easy.
In the end this is a must read, heart-stopping, mind-altering, emotional journey that I can't wait to continue.
